Fun fact: as a kid I was genuinely afraid that Gollum would crawl out of a Ouija board. I don’t know what I thought he would do, but it felt like a very valid concern at the time. Embarrassingly, that fear stuck around for way too long…

you all love to hear about niche fears until i pull out lighters and miss minutes
fucking terrifying
What’s your most weirdly specific fear? Mine is swallowing my engagement ring.
I put my engagement ring in a little box when I sleep, or a little dish while I cook messy food or do dishes. I don't usually wear it outside when doing vigorous physical activities or going to super germy places like the doctor's office or the grocery store. But every time I look down and see I'm not wearing my ring, I panic and think I absentmindedly swallowed it and have to go check and see if it was where I last put it (or check on it when I get home). Even sometimes when I am wearing my ring, I suddenly panic that I swallowed it and have to check my hand to see if I'm wearing it. I'll also often wake up in the middle of the night and check my jewelry box to make sure I didn't swallow my ring in my sleep even though I NEVER wear my ring to bed. I never wore rings before I got engaged, so this was a very unexpected fear to develop!
breaking news: I have gotten over my weird fear of tiny child person Raz from psychonauts
I am also now obsessing over itÂ
How the fuck do people live alone? I’ve lived with people my whole life, even the few times I had my own room I could hear my dad or sister snoring in the next room. I can’t even sleep without background noise if I’m alone cause it creeps me out to not hear someone else sleeping. How do people do it?!

i don’t know what’s a weirder fear to have, flying leeches or someone coming up to you and putting heroin in your arm
Date a demisexual person who has weird phobias that make no sense.
I hate telling people about my fear of mirrors because they always have one of four reactions.
1. They start to laugh at me.
2. They say something along the lines of “wow you really hate yourself that much”
3. They immediately shove their phone camera in my face (this one is particularly annoying)
4. All of the above.
Like genuinely. It CANNOT be that weird to be freaked out by mirrors đź«©
