I’LL ADMIT THE DITTO ONE WAS MY FAVORITE haha. The doctors are initially like ??? but it settles down and goes back to being baby-shaped after it sees all the pictures of babies on the walls and all of the like. actual real babies. So everyone thinks everything is dandy until baby like streeeetches its arm out to grab its dad’s finger or it turns into a fucking cat or something. (Ichimatsu appreciates his nibling’s ability to do this.)
CHESTBURSTER WAS THE ONE THAT MADE ME LAUGH THE HARDEST THOUGH like can you even imagine them all crowded around a hospital bed ready to start a c-section or whatever you do when there’s an assbaby and SUDDENLY CHESTBURSTER!!! and all the screaming and gore and Chibita is scared to death but Karamatsu is fine, he’s died like five times, and he’s just like hahaha the miracle of birth. (Chibita is just like :| forever, but he still holds their baby.)

That is basically exactly what I was thinking haha. Like Chibita acts like he’s the responsible one who feeds his child and changes its diapers (properly, karamatsu, with no fucking glitter, you’re going to give it diaper rash) but he is also the one that will like fuckin’ end any child who makes fun of their kid on the playground. Chibita, stop fighting children! Stop trying to teach a toddler how to make oden! That’s dangerous!
Meanwhile Karamatsu never even pretended to be responsible, he just spoils their kid rotten. He sings them lullabies and gives them piggyback rides and sneaks them sweets and Chibita is like :| but mostly internally dying of cute, he loves it. But he’s actually surprisingly dependable?? Like he will do literally anything for their spawn, even climb mountains or fight bears or be reliable.
