Convergent Design

In 2010, Naz Hamid, Scott Robbin and I created SitBy.Us, a scheduling app for SXSW Interactive. We were solving a problem we faced ourselves: how to figure out which friends were going to which panels, and where they were sitting in the room. We spent quite a bit of time on the user interface, getting all the details right. It was well received.

Naz noticed during the Apple presentation today, one of the Apple Watch notification screens looks remarkably like what we came up with.

As Naz noted, it's nice to be years ahead of our time.
