Hey guys! Its been a hot minute since I posted an update. Not going to lie, fell off the wagon with eating healthy, especially after hurting my back. Between the pain and not being able to work out, I spiraled into a major depression. So I am going to catch you guys up with where I am at now!Ā
First: I love this swimsuit! This is me at my smallest back in February. I was 168 lbs in this photo. I was eating well and following my nutritionist's plan and working out 3-4 times a week. I was doing well in taking care of my health, but that was my only focus. My mental health and job were lacking, I was spending little time with my family, and not sleeping at all.
Two: Fast forward to this week. This is me on Saturday with my baby sister! It was her senior prom! My weight fluctuates between 179-182 lbs. I have not been eating super healthy or working out at all. However, I was finally cleared to be able to go back to my kickboxing classes! During this last month and a half, lots of things have happened. I started dating someone, advanced my career with specialized training, spent time with my family, and did okay with my mental health.Ā
I am getting back on track starting Monday. I have decided to do kickboxing 2 days a week, walking/jogging/some other outdoor exercise 1-2 days a week, and trying the new ballet barre thing 1-2 days a week. As for food, I need more balance in my life. I love my nutritionist, but at the end of the day I stopped sticking to the plan because I felt bored and restricted. So now I am counting my calories with my fitness pal. I want to stay under 1400 calories. I am limiting myself to one soda a day, and trying to drink more water/coffee. I am also trying to eat more fresh fruits, veggies, and lean meats over frozen and processed food. Sometimes life throws us curve balls, lets get back in the game! Also back to my therapist this week! Iām putting my health in with my life, not letting it become my only thought.
Now I saved this photo for last. It my motivation to keep going! This photo was taken exactly 1 year apart. I weighed 210+lbs in the first photo! I refused to be that girl ever again!Ā
So here we go if you want a brief summary:
CW/SW: 179-182LBS (WILL GET ON SCALE ON MONDAY AND GIVE ACTUAL NUMBER)
GOAL WEIGHT: 140ISH LBS (THIS IS JUST AN ESTIMATION, I AM GOING TO STOP WHENEVER I FEEL HEALTHY)
