Trump has made it clear the federal government won’t be standing with transgender people for the next four years.

But even if the president’s not on their side, the people are. A majority of Americans reject bathroom discrimination laws. It’s time for our majority to get noisy.

The Trump administration is hammering away at protections for America’s most vulnerable people, and the transgender community has taken some painful blows.

Trump and Sessions are erasing the victories trans activists won against discrimination in our schools. Trans kids face real challenges just to be able to use the bathroom during the school day. The federal government isn’t going to have their backs anymore.

But Trump’s not just on the wrong side of history. Recent polls show he’s also up against more than half the country. And so are the legislators pushing for bathroom discrimination in a growing number of states.

The #WeeklyResisters are going to make sure our elected officials know exactly where their constituents stand.

Don't let Trump and the Senate GOP spin this one: Neil Gorsuch is not a reasonable pick for the #StolenSeat. He's an extremist who's even to Scalia's right, someone who is prepared to let the corporations and the billionaires run over regular folks like us.

So it’s official: Trump and the Republicans are rushing through a bill that would cost an estimated 24 million Americans their health insurance while it cuts taxes for the wealthy.

Now they’re going to try to do whatever they can to throw dirt in our eyes.  But we’re not going to fall for Don’s con.

Call your member of Congress at this link and tell them now, more than ever, we’re demanding they reject this cruelty and save Obamacare.

The Resistance earned a game-changing victory in forcing the GOP to cancel the Trumpcare vote. Thanks so much to all of you for calls, e-mails, faxes, office visits and protests. You made this happen against the odds.

We can’t let up the pressure now – after all, Trump is set to move on to cutting taxes for the wealthy and making us pay for it. But this win is a milestone, and we want to take the opportunity to reflect on what we’ve learned since November.

We here at Weekly Actions to Resist Trump want to make sure we’re doing the most good we possibly can together, to be deliberate and thoughtful even in the face of all the emergencies the White House is creating.

So we’re going to be taking a hiatus from rolling out new calls-to-action over the next few weeks. We will be reviewing our strategy and considering our next steps as an organization.

Donald Trump wants Congress to approve devastating budget cuts for the Environmental Protection Agency. If he gets his way, it will be an effective death blow for the agency, and for countless Americans relying on the EPA to make sure the air we breathe and the water we drink are safe.
