The weekend fades and silence grows, a quiet sadness no one knows, I sit here in a crowded room, to hear a voice that's gone too soon. Voice is silent, clutter fades, I'll miss you now for all my days. No one hears the tears that fall, the scream that's hidden in it all. I say this now with little choice, when you left you took my voice. The weekend ends I'm all alone, a silent house that isn't home, I lay here in the quiet night, a silent house that's not quite right. I know I'll wake and start again, but just for now it is the end. Another weekend come and gone, the world without you moves along.
