Discovering a group of Hobgoblins using slaves to dig bellow the city, the adventurers attack the monsters and free their prisoners. One of the men, Doug, tells the heroes that he had been taken prisoner a year ago and forced to work in the darkness ever since.

Returning to the surface, the companions talk to the City Watch and tell them all they have uncovered, as well as the discovery of the murdered noblewoman and the clues they found there. While the party believed it was a setup against the Torenescu family, the watch wasn’t as sure.

On their way back to the Inn the group passes through the Market where an Orator has whipped the crowd into an angry mob, and soon the Duke’s men arrive to disperse the crowd. There is an angry shout, a thrown stone knocking a rider from his horse, and before the adventurers can clear the area a a riot has soon broken out. Horsemen slash at commoners with their sabres, while the angry mob pull down horse and rider alike.

The group is split with some trying to calm the crowd, while others try to escape the Duke’s Men and reach safety. Faelynn, Pituitor and Belladonna notice the Orator rush away down a side street and give chase. They follow him through an abandoned hovel and down another subterranean passageway before emerging in a building far from the riot. After a short skirmish the trio capture the man and demand to know why he started the riot.

Week 46 

Na een week van flink ziek zijn en weer aansterken is het weer zover: de nieuwe week is begonnen. Het is vandaag dinsdag 16 november, dus eigenlijk was de week gister al ingegaan maar de dag verliep een stuk anders dan gedacht. Na een ochtend meeting met team De Friesland en onze scrum king, zijn we onderzoeksvragen gaan opstellen. Ik moest er tussenuit want ja, de inschrijving voor Study Abroad zou plaatsvinden om 12:00u! 

Zenuwen, frustratie, zweet en tranen. Alles ging in de aanmelding en uiteindelijk naar 4 uur lang proberen was het toch gelukt: Yes, ik heb mijn plekje gefixt! Of... toch niet? Nee, een paar uur later kregen wij het nieuws dat alles nogmaals moet op een nieuwe datum. Geploegd en geduldig gebleven, maar toch, een grote teleurstelling.
