Throwing it back to or weekend getaway to D.C.: We tried to raise our kids to look out for each other, adopting a team-like mentality, because life is hard. . And, when life gets really hard, it's good to know you have sisters/a brother at your side, reassuring you that "Don't worry, you got this, I got-chu!" . They may not (and don't have to) like each other, all the time (trust me on this one), but when life gets really, really hard, IMHO: It's sort of nice to know these guys have got their very own personal cheering section at the ready, and I don't have to bribe them to be nice each other...much. . Finally caught up with my video workouts. I owe myself an extra walk this week. This practice was hard. I was starting to get light headed so had to stop and take a minute halfway through. I think it's the cold medicine and not enough water. But I jumped back in and finished strong. When I’m running c25k on my own I’m pushing myself at my own pace. This time I was pushing harder to keep up with my partner which I know I shouldn’t do because he used to run marathons and is just better trained for this. My shins are on fire and have sharp pains every time I make contact with the ground. I’ll be icing and resting my legs for a few days.

Heute war unser neunter Arbeitstag. Marvin und ich sind heute nicht wie gewöhnlich zum Büro gegangen, sondern direkt zur High-School, bei der uns Toni schon erwatete. Die Schüler dieser Schule hatten heute ihre Einschulung und mussten über ein Programm ihre Wahlfächer wählen. Die Server für die Datenverwaltung sind jedoch ausgefallen, sodass ein andere alternative aushelfen musste. Doch um dieses Problem sollten und konnten wir uns auch nicht kümmern. Unsere Hauptaufgabe bestand darin, zu überprüfen, ob alle Rechner einen Internetzugang haben und die aktuellste Windows-Version installiert ist. Falls nicht, mussten wir uns um dieses Problem kümmern. Nach der Mittagspause mussten wir im Büro viele Laptops neu konfigurieren, indem wir die Daten der Schule löschen mussten, ein neues Image erstellt haben und anschließend Gruppenrichtlinien hinzugefügt haben.
