Fic Rec Friday Week 47
Hello friends! I've been thinking about the upcoming end of Fic Rec Friday (spoiler, it concludes with week 52) and what a joy it's been to read and/or reread the recommended fics and to mark far too many for later. I'm so grateful that we have these lists to go back to.
I know I've discovered some wonderful fics thanks to Fic Rec Friday and I hope all of you have too. In the spirit of discovery, this week let's all recommend our favorite underrated gems. Is there a fic you constantly reread that you think deserves more love? What about that fic you've been dying to recommend, but it doesn't fit neatly into any of the previous categories? Writers, is there a fic of yours that you feel is overlooked? Let's recommend those deep cuts and fics that haven't previously received any Fic Rec Friday love.

i'll stick by your side, if you'll be right by mine by @chanyelle (ApothecaRose) I think we all agree Patrick needs friends, right? This fic shows a lovely friendship between Patrick and Twyla, weaving in and out of canon and they both get a (non-masseuse related) happy ending.
Spiraling Off in All Directions by @different-but-the-same (The_Same_But_Different) I reread this when I need a good laugh. Patrick high on anesthetic post wisdom teeth extraction always brings a smile to my face.
time will say nothing by @stereopticons Four beautiful moments between David and Patrick during all four seasons. The writing is gorgeous and Winter makes me tear up every time I read it.
I'm Here For You by elifisher96 I adore the entire Patrick the Poet series, but this one is my favorite. So many beautiful lines and such a great exploration of Patrick's thoughts and feelings.
Speaking of poems - The Light in your Eyes by @smallumbrella369 contains so many perfect haikus. It is the sweetest, most clever fic and I am in awe of their brain for writing it!
Over The River by flowerfan I love this AU where Patrick comes out to Marcy after his first kiss with David. It's so well written and so heartwarming.
I feel very awkward recommending my own fic [side note, I've taken sooooo many personality assessments this year and I am super, extra humble], but I would teach my feet to fly is a fic I'm very proud of that I wish more people had read.
