✋Hello everyone! Hope you all are doing great. 🤝 . . I really had a great day 😎. In my last post I told that I’ll be posting about C++ 1st. But unfortunately, I changed my mind. I’m preparing for my Comptia Linux+ Certification. I’m learning Linux now a days. So, I decided to share what I have learned time by time and also receive some valuable inputs from you all. Do you love Linux? I’m literally becoming a fan of Linux. For the coming few days, I will be posting about Linux. After that, hopefully from coming month, I will start from C++, then Python, then Java and so on. . . Day 1: Linux: . . 🔷History of Linux is obsessed by a viewpoint of openness and transparency. 🔷 Linux is an open source software. Open source refers computer codes that any user is legalised to view and amend for any reason and they can distribute it as well. 🔷 Linux is a family of operating system which uses Linux kernel. Kernel means the core the OS that manages all components in the system. 🔷 Linux kernel was developed by Linus Torvalds in 1991. He is an alumnus of University of Helsinki. . . Few advantages of Linux: ❥ Its FOSS (Free and Open Source) and transparent. ❥ Its design is simple and modular. ❥ It is stable and reliable. ❥ It ensures security and privacy. ❥ Most of its distributions are free of cost. ❥ It has strong integration with several major programming languages, like C, C++, Python, Ruby, etc. . . There are distinct members of the Linux family called Linux distributions, or distros which differ primarily in what additional software they add on top of the kernel to create a fully functional OS, as well as the version of the kernel they run.  Example of few Linux distro are: Ubuntu, CentOs, Kali Linux, Fedora etc. Currently, I’m using Kali Linux and Liberty OS.
