okay I don’t normally post about this but for the past couple of months I’ve been reading a ton of web comics (specifically manhwas) and I just read this one last night… and it’s giving calebmc!!
it’s called “tasty tester” and it’s 18+ with the childhood friends to lovers trope… it’s only 11 chapters (with 3 additional bonus chapters that follow) and I highly recommend it to any calebmc mains (or even if you don’t main calebmc, it’s still a fun read)
fair warning, there are tentacles involved in like the first chapter (I am not spoiling as to why), but besides that… it’s honestly such a cute (yet steamy) story that’s got basically no drama and is straight to the point… it’s wholesome and a genuine hidden gem so check it out and lmk what you all think! ₊˚⊹♡
Why is the next episode of your comic free in 80 days?
This ask made me realize I posted the hiatus comic I made for murder Club on the WRONG EPISODE!!! (Now fixed!)
TL:DR - Murder Club is on a mid-season break so I can knock the second half out of the park! There will be approximately 30 episodes total, and our return date is early summer. I will update everyone with an exact return date when I have it!
Honestly, the production timeline for Murder Club has been kinda screwed from the start. I can't get into the details at this time, but basically this mid-season hiatus was inevitable - there's no way I would have been able to make enough episodes fast enough to stay ahead of the update schedule with how much work needs to be done.
Thanks for reading, and thank you for your patience! My goal with this hiatus is to make a ton of episodes, which will let us speed to the end without interruption when we return.

I love commenting on comics I read, but especially when they have a very small fanbase and the artist is really responsive. It makes me feel like my comments matter and I'm encouraging someone to keep going with their excellent story even if they don't have a lot of readers yet. ^^
That said, here are several comics I'm reading that DESERVE MORE READERS AND COMMENTS AND BY GOODNESS I'M GONNA TRY AND GET THEM SOME VIA TUMBLR PROPOGANDA:
A post-apocalyptic comic about love
This is a Middle Grade comic about a young girl in a world that has been taken over by toxic spores that force people to wear masks all the time when outdoors, and her quest to leave the safety of the city walls to find a plant that will help her dad with his asthma. The worldbuilding so far is intriguing, the characters and art are very likeable, and I'm SUPER interested to see what she will encounter in the weird wide world.
Wholesome family dynamics, great writing and art! I give this one a PG rating, although there is going to be a dog with a shelf-mushroom face (nothing graphic/gory, just...mushrooms for face), so if that triggers your body horror tolerance levels, this might not be for you. (I am excited to meet the dog though, I think it's coming soon!) Just started Chapter 3 and she's ABOUT TO LEAVE THE CITY HERE WE GOOO!
Ongoing Webcomic series following postmasters Sprout and Oz! The brothers become unlikely heros, after Discovering a magic mailbox.
THIS COMIC IS SO INTRIGUING AND GOOD AND I'M SO CURIOUS ABOUT THE LORE AND IT HAS FIVE CHAPTERS SO FAR AND THINGS ARE HAPPENING, WHAT ARE THE VIRUSES, THE BROTHERS ARE SUCH LOVEABLE DORKS, also the artist has all sorts of DELIGHTFUL secret easter eggs scattered around the site, so make sure you find ALL the clickable things! (Start in the Cast Page!)
Wholesome brother relationship, goofy friend who may know more than anyone realizes, curmudgeonly leader figure you will love by Chapter 4. Clean action and no sex, but I am rating this one R for language as there is semi-frequent dropping of S- and F-bombs, so if you're not comfortable with any of those, maybe steer clear. Currently on hiatus but the artist has left clear notes about their intention to return once they have a good buffer.

A BEAUTIFUL comic by my old godmode-AU friend @amarathimi, this one features a shapeshifting magical book and a beleaguered IT guy trying SO DESPERATELY to keep said shapeshifting magical book in check (it's NOT going well for him so far). Updates monthly but the updates are always two or more pages and LOVELY, she has a great grasp of paneling and expressions and limited-scale coloring, and there's very cool near-future tech involving augmented reality overlays. I'm excited to learn more about Murmeli (the book) and hopefully see this dang jerk get reformed.
I would rate this one PG, with a minor note that there is partial body transformation (arm has feathers) in case that triggers anybody. Currently has 70 episodes on Tapas and we're in the middle of some MAJOR action, I'm on the edge of my SEAT to see how Esa gets out of this situation and hopefully doesn't get turned into a slug.

Tgs is coming to an end soon, and I’ll need something to fill that webcomic void. I absolutely adore The Glass Scientists, and I’m sad to see it go. Anyway, I’m looking for recommendations for a new webcomic to read.
I enjoy Castoff, TGS, Oren’s Forge, I loved After Dark until webtoon cancelled it, Tamberlane, Fragile, and Friends With A Monster. I really like werewolf stories, animal characters, fantasy, and characters I can really get to know and care about.
I’m not really a fan of action, romance, and superheros. Action and romance is fine as long as it’s not the main focus.
Now, please give me recommendations. I need to fill that void. Something to look forward to every week has been wonderful. Thank you people of tumblr.
