We made it! Chapter 4 has been the longest chapter yet, ending with almost double the number of pages of the average HAMAEE chapter. Overall, it took 3 ½ years to write and draw. I’d like to thank my trusty editors Maddie and Gray for their invaluable help and insight, as well as my lover Devon for their unwavering support. And of course, thank you to all my readers for staying along for the ride!

So, HAMAEE is once again taking a hiatus. This will give me much-needed time to relax, edit the script for Chapter 5, and replenish my buffer. Chapter 5 will be the final arc of the comic, so it’s very important to me that I crash this train smoothly into the station and give us a satisfying ending. There is no hard deadline for when the hiatus will end. As you may recall, the previous hiatus lasted about 11 months. We can expect it to last that long again. Holly & Macy will return in early 2027.

The older I get, the fuller my life becomes, and my webcomic always comes with me. I love Holly & Macy dearly. I am so happy that you enjoy their story. There is one chapter left, and I promise to give it my all. Thank you for reading! Me and the girls will see you again soon.
