1 Mswt Wesir - Birthday of Wesir

(Being away from home means I need to be a little creative about my Heriu Ronpet celebrations this year!)

O, Wesir, Lord of Life, who causes the plants to flourish. Master in Abydos, Merciful Lord of those that perish. Praise the Sovereign in the Duat, O, Lord of Silence Wearer of the Atef Crown, Whose Domain is timeless.

O, Sekhmet, The Fiery Eye, who is Ra’s beloved daughter,

She who is adorned in Crimson, be calmed with adoration,

the microphone gathers up the seriously relaxed mood of both ourselves, and the locals who stroll by, all blissfully unaware that they are audibly marking our visit

We find a small bar, where we drink San Miguel and eat tapas; we sit, and listen to the locals talk, which they do incessantly. These people seem to be very much at ease in their own skins, there is no hint of pretentiousness, all seems quite genuine.
