So how different would the what's dead should stay dead plot be if Kaori got resurrected along with Hisashi? đđđ
Pretty much everything would be different tbh. Since, when resurrecting, the physical body is regenerated by magic and is therefore laced with magic, Kaori would no longer have her illness. Hisashi got into dark magic to try and save his wife, and since sheâd be healthy if she resurrected, heâd have no need for it anymore.
Now, being an evil bastard in the netherworld for like 200 years is kind of a hard thing to stop, but Hisashi would be willing to try and set everything aside in order to be with his wife and make her happy. He would, of course, still be ecstatic about the whole âfree sonâ situation with Izuku, but Kaori would be there to smack the shit out of Hisashi if he got too weird.
So Hisashi would still be creepy and possessive, but Kaori would be there to bully him into respecting Izukuâs boundaries and being normal. Izuku wouldnât have had to put up with half of what he actually does in the fic. Kaori would also be motherly to Izuku, but not try to insert herself as his new mom, or replace his mom the way Hisashi tries to insist heâs now Izukuâs dad.
Basically, Kaori would be the leash holding Hisashi back and making him act more normal. Izuku would eventually come around to these two ancestors of his that have come back to life, and the more he accepts them, the more calm Hisashi actually becomes, because it fulfills his dream of being a father and having a family with his wife.
And of course, Izuku would end up with a little sibling at some point in the future.
