The Rat Man sighed. He hated his job.

And no, it wasn't because of what he did. It wasn't because of how morally wrong it was, because he hardly had any morality left in himself.

He didn't care about who died and who lived. That information meant shit, actually.

He really only hated his work because of that damned kid Thomas - Subject A2 who should have been named "The Problem" instead of whatever he was because holy hell did he know how to hit. Seriously. Where, in the entirety of his maze trials, had Thomas ever had time to be this difficult? Did he read a book or something?!

I mean, come on! Bending the rules and such - it's horrible! He was always one step ahead at the very least, and the Rat Man felt it would soon drive him to his grave.
