It had taken a few days... a few days to accept what had happened instead of trying to foil it, talking herself out of asking J’onn to reverse it. However, he had been right, in erasing every trace of Kara Danvers from the DEO, and if he thought this was the way to defeat the truth-seeker, then she had to have faith. Still, she didn’t know how she was supposed to look her sister in the eye and not show it.
In not so many words, Kara ambushed Alex; she was waiting, just outside of her apartment. Not wanting to startle her sister and earn a few rounds to the chest, she stepped into the light from the street lamp, “Director Danvers,” she began. “I understand that the DEO is not... fond of me at the moment, but that doesn’t change things on my end. If you need my help, all you need to do is say the word, and I’ll be there.”
