“Sure must be good to enjoy your youth like that...” Zeno was eating some cookies while sitting on a bench for a while now. And for some reason, couples were especially touchy today. What was up with that? His uncommon not-so cheerful comment, was heard by someone familiar. Wasn’t this the girl he helped out back when the city was in ruins? It was good to see she was alive and well!

“Oh, hey little Miss! Sorry, Zeno didn’t mean to ruin the mood, he just wondered why everyone who walks pass there, is kissing each other on the same spot...” Zeno wasn’t really interested in all that couple stuff. Not because he had anything against romance, it was just that the person that he loved, wasn’t alive anymore... His wife was someone so dear to him, that even after all these years, he hasn’t forgotten the impact she had on him. Seeing couples like that, did remind him of her, even though it was sometimes hard to remember her face, since it was such a long time ago... It somewhat hurt, but he would try not to let others see, that trying desperately to remember what she exactly looked like, hurt him. 

“You’re part of the entertainment for the party, correct? I’m assisting with the food and beverages. Can I fetch you anything?“

It was only natural that Kokichi would check the ward he lived in first, to see what events spiralfes was hosting. The first thing he visited was the fruit mart thing, that was right at the beach parkin lot. However, it was more boring than even he expected. Melon fruits, melon plants... melon...clothes?! What was this, some party for grandparents? For his own entertainment he looked around for someone to ‘talk to’. Though who knew if he would leave it at talking or if he would just mess with them in the end. Life was full of surprises after all, wasn’t it?

“Aaah, you there!~” As always he didn’t shy back from approaching any stranger. It was a girl wearing pigtails, and she was pretty short (since she was even a tiny little bit shorter than him). “Sorry to bother you, buuut I think I’m lost... I’m looking for some melons, did you see any?” Of course this wasn’t a serious question, considering everything around them was just anything ‘melon’. 

“Hey, you! Watch out!” Zeno didn’t even think, before jumping between the brunette and a monster that was about to attack her. Luckily, he did get away with only some deep scratch wound on one of his arm. Usually, he was the type that didn’t run from a fight, he could fight for all eternity if he really needed to after all... but not since arriving here... That was why he took the girl, that was staring already staring at him with big confused eyes, by the hand and started to run away from the danger.

He had no weapon, and his dragon scales usually only appeared once he was hurt a certain amount of times. So basically, he was defenseless. He couldn’t risk getting hurt without reason, since ever his wounds didn’t heal as they used to too. The yellow dragon did remember that mysterious voice that told him, he could definitely die now’ as well. So, as much as he wished he could fight that monster, so it couldn’t endanger anyone else, there was only the option to hide for now.

Once he found a broken building to hide behind, he did let go of the girl and sat down on the ground. A break was needed until his wounds would all heal up again. Though, he didn’t want the other to worry about him too much. After all, to someone like him, this was nothing but a slight scratch.

         Five licks later, he turns back to Rise.

Soon she would perform on the piano again. The Ultimate Pianist was so excited since ever she got asked to do this, that she barely could find any sleep. Though she wouldn’t perform alone on stage. She actually had the honors of accompany some real idol on stage this time... How exciting! 

Somehow she ended up thinking about it so much, that she found herself in front of the idol’s apartment door. Would it be weird to introduce herself just like that? Then again, they would need to talk to each other before working together anyway, right? That was why she decided to not think too much about it and ringed the doorbell. Once a pretty brunette opened the door, she just knew that it had to be her.

“Excuse me, you’re Rise Kujikawa, right? I’m sure you’ve heard, but we’re going to perform together in the upcoming Halloween party! I’m Kaede Akamatsu, and will play the piano to your singing!” It wasn’t that unusual for Kaede to come right to the point, but there was also more she wanted to talk to Rise about. She still didn’t know what kind of song the other wanted to sing in the first place. And besides that... she also of course had in mind to befriend her.
