Experimenting with watercolour techniques is half the fun, and can help you to achieve paintings full of texture. The best way to improve is to practice.
Hello dear~ Hope you are doing okay. Hm, is it okay to ask what watercolor techinques you like to use? I have been into watercolor recently and I love how you've been doing your watercolor work lately. Hope I didnt mean to bother you.
heyy! thank you very much~ actually i pretty much use many techniques for one drawing. It always depends on how big the space is which i want to fill with colour. For simple backgrounds for example i tend to use wet in wet technique, but for very small parts i tend to use the dry brush technique. For the shading tho i like glazing. I hope that helps!
First years experiment with washes during Beginner Watercolour. Flat, graded, floated and verigated washes were perfected as a basis for future landscape projects.
