See below the cut for a ramble about why I love this intriguing little Zach fact š.
I have no judgment against Zach for having warts, they are caused by a virus. Anyone can have them or get them, my mom has them on her feet, I have them on my fingers (Iām super self conscious about them, but itās life), my dadās had them on his fingers, it happens!
And even though Iāve experienced many people (including doctors) claiming they are gross and disgusting itās normal, and I kinda love the fact that Zachās not shy about his struggles with warts because they can be unsightly and painful, and the removal process isnāt always easy. Even if you can successfully remove them, they can come back, which is frustrating. Zach, therefore, is trying to find a permanent solution to remove his warts.
Does it make sense, no, the warthog cannot remove his warts, they simply share a name, āwarts.ā Is it ethical, of course not, but itās Zach, he never plays by the rules regarding animals and nature. But, I love this bit of humanity added to him, and I love that the Kratt Brothers/writers included this fact for Zach.
