I’ve always loved warm showers. There’s something strangely comforting about them, especially at the end of a long day. It feels therapeutic in a way I can’t fully explain — like for a little while, everything slows down and I can finally breathe without thinking so much.
I think part of it is the feeling of taking care of yourself. Washing away the day, using soaps that smell nice, putting on lotion afterward and feeling clean and soft and human again. It almost feels like telling yourself you matter, even in small ways. Like treating yourself gently for once instead of rushing through everything.
I wish I could hold onto that feeling every day. That quiet kind of comfort where nothing feels loud or stressful for a little while.

Life in Gratitude
I'm grateful for warm baths that offer relaxation at the end of a busy day.
What Are You Doing To Look After Your Skin This Winter?
As the winter approaches many have chosen to take precautions to keep their houses warm but have forgotten about the most important part, their skin. Our skins are the most exposed part of our bodies as far as organs are concerned. Too much heat can damage the skin but so can low temperatures. Make sure that you have a skin care habit that will help you through the winter season. It is not only a matter of cleaning and covering and covering up, and there are some things you can do for your skin to keep it soft and damage free.
There are plenty of skin care lotions, and creams that are can benefit our skins as the temperatures drop but due to ignorance and lack of interest many just save them for when they go out. However, if you want to be on top of the game as far as your skin is concerned, you need to be well informed about the product you are using, how to best use them and the benefits and side effects they may have. Before the winter sets in learn more about your skin and what it takes to take care of it.
What damage winter does to your skin
During the cold season, the skin pores tend to shrink and accumulation of dirt and sweat on this pot will show eventually if no cleaning regime is followed. Dirt buildup comes in the form of acne and rashes that show up out of nowhere.
You will also be uncomfortable and itchy even though you have not felt like that before. The moisture in the air also contributes to the clogging of the pores and you end up with oily skin.
Dos and don’ts for inter-skin care
Moisturizer is your best friend at this time of the year. With the level of dehydration, your skin is likely to experience it advisable to keep your skin moisturized to avoid the dry and flaky skin.
There are dry skins and oily skins with different needs. Use petroleum based products from the former and something lighter for the latter.
Sunscreen is not just for the sunny season but is just as important during the winter period.
Ultraviolet light is not limited to the summer period, but all through the year we are exposed to it. Avoid wrinkled and aged skin by applying sunscreen on a daily basis. Some lotions offer sunscreen as a component in the product, but it is advisable just to use sunscreen and not a product that contains it.
Avoid hot showers as they cause dehydration. Stick to Luke warm baths.
You can best take care of your skin by exercising every day by taking walks to relax, massaging our faces with natural oils such as sesame seed oil which acts as a form of moisturizer
