I painted #Ylthari's Guardians as a gift for a friend during the first lock-down. She has the "real" cards for them, but, I made an alt-art deck with the painted miniatures and the faces of our gaming group - just to keep her company. ... and because I'm "like that" I did this to the second set of figures, without telling her, and presented them to her in a display case. I wish there was something like "Kingdom Death" but for Underworlds warbands

#PiousVorne aka "Vorne the Pious" was a surprise. She was the last of my "Core" #BlackstoneFortress models, and, the first model I finished in 2022 ... though both of those details are down to the technicality that I was too intimidated by the flames to start them earlier on New Year's Eve. I now want to do a whole #Cawdor gang with the robes and flames as these were both approaches I hadn't tried before, and, were surprisingly "efficient" to do. The metals were an odd mix of NMM and TMM. I don't enjoy grey or silver TMM, and, I have even less ability to produce them as NMM. I think that my biggest regret with this model is that I don't recall how I managed those shades. Overall, this came out with an ideal amount of detail for me. Some things could be a little more even, others could be pilled to more extremes, but, I'm still willing to call it "perfect" for my goals.

This was made as a birthday gift for a friend (same one as yesterday) just in case she ever does IRL #DnD again. It's a "Displacer Beast Kitten"
