I'll be putting the 1984 series on hold soon, after I post the last few images and gifs I already made. This was my favorite series to work on. I had always wondered what a 'cyberpunk pop art' series would look like and I felt incredibly lucky to figure it out. It was meant to be (mostly) far fetched satire but it's increasingly hard to a) work on and b) have ideas that don't feel all-too plausible. For example; I never made a 'Facebook84' because I couldn't come up with an idea more dystopian than what they were already doing.

Last year, I launched a merch line called supercassette. I've noticed that despite telling my fans about it, most of you still ask about how you can support me directly and buy clothes with my designs. This year, after an incredibly difficult grind, I'm relaunching the site with new designs and international shipping. I've also taken your requests to heart, and switched our fabric to cotton/non-synthetic materials whenever possible. The tariffs, my health and my surroundings made it hard to keep up this year, but I'm proud of the work I put into supercassette, jointly with my partner.

I rarely talk about my series, but seeing that I just posted the last of V2 of the PaintXP series and that I probably won't make new in it for a while, I figure it's a good time for it.

The idea was to take an edit I did for my old blog and turn it into a proper art series. However, the rule I try to stick to for any proper WK art is that I need to make it 100% myself. This meant I had to remake the Windows XP UI, and paint icons myself, in my own style.

I've meant to set up an account for a while since it's the last of the major platforms I'm not on. Luckily I can queue posts there so I'm just barely able to handle another platform.

I'll be posting my art there in semi-chronological order so it works as an interesting time capsule to see how my art has evolved (right now I've posted my recent wallpapers and about half of the art from my first year)

I'm testing out threads a bit, although I'm probably just going to have it auto-post my IG (and tumblr) posts.
