Hairstyle Name: Wanashitenjin (輪なし天神) lit. “Heavenly God Without Loops”
There was a hairstyle known as Tenjin-mage (天神髷), which was the basis for this hairstyle. Here, they stylist simply removed the side-loops. In this modified version, this hairstyle was common among women of the middle class.
