Walter did everything he could to keep himself neat and clean but nothing worked, he still caught the plague again and this time it came with a wicked effect that left him feeling weak and helpless. Walter hated being so kind sometimes and going out of his way to hep someone in need, he hated himself for thinking selfishly and just accepted his fate as a dead man.
Walter rolled to one said of his bed roll to lay more comfortably and ease his pain, he couldn't stay at the shop anymore and he didn't tell a soul where he went in fear of giving them the plague. "It's meant to be..." he groaned, he couldn't travel today and thankfully his tent blocked him from the harsh winds.

Pour d’autres livres, davantage de temps a été nécessaire pour qu’ils soient édités ou complètement reconnus (Esaïe 30:8 ; Prov. 25:1).
Walter Kaiser résume ainsi l’histoire du canon de l’Ancien Testament :
Il y a eu une reconnaissance progressive de la canonicité de certains livres, à commencer par celle des lecteurs et des destinataires contemporains de ces écrivains et qui étaient les mieux placés pour valider leurs affirmations.(1)

Récemment, certains spécialistes ont affirmé que le canon juif n’avait pas été clos avant le soit-disant concile de Jamnia, en 90 ap. J.C. (2) Le terme “concile“ et la mention d’une date précise sont cependant trompeurs.
Dans les faits, à la suite de la destruction du temple de Jérusalem par les armées romaines en 70 ap. J.C., des discussions rabbiniques sur différents thèmes ont pris places à Jamnia et se sont poursuivies pendant soixante ans. Une étude attentive de ces débats rabbiniques favorise l’approche chrétienne traditionnelle, à savoir que le canon était depuis longtemps établi pour la majorité des Juifs du premier siècle. [..]
Flavius Josèphe (37-100) affirme que le canon juif correspondant à notre Ancien Testament était déjà en vigueur du temps du roi perse Artaxerxès (465-423 av. J.C.). Ses écrits relatifs à la clôture de l’Ancien Testament sont particulièrement frappants (3)
Il parait difficile de comprendre pourquoi nous devrions écarter une affirmation aussi claire au profit d’une reconstruction moderne aussi fragile.
