“Great things never come from your comfort zone”. 2017 has been such a winding road. So many ups and downs, sicknesses and heartaches, and joys beyond compare. I’m sure 2018 will have its fair share of all of these too, but I feel like because of this year, and all the things I’ve seen and felt, I’m able to step into 2018 with a new mature mindset. I feel like the goals I hold in my heart are so far different from the shapeless goals I’ve set in the past. “Get fit, eat well, save money” etc. While none of those things are particularly bad goals, they just aren’t fully formed enough to push one forward into achieving them. This year I find myself taking the time to set the tough goals, the ones that look so looming and hard I don’t even know where to begin.
