Just popping in to say hi. I had to represent and share my love of pink. It’s one of my favorite colors. Happy National Pink Day! I’ll be back soon I promise just trying to get back to at least feeling 85%. I posted this on my stories a while ago, but wanted to add some background. I got some new glasses!!! Just in case you never noticed the glasses change, lol. Now you know. 😁 Growing up getting the choice of what I got to wear was a privilege my parents made sure my little brother and I had. As a kid we didn’t appreciate what seemed like a small thing to us then, but they were teaching us about free will. That our choices impacted us. I like to think because of them letting us have a voice so early (out the womb) we got to determine who we wanted to be. I also learned we could change our mind at anytime. This mindset I apply to my sewing. With every piece I make I get to choose how it makes me feel and who I want to be. Like do I want to be sexy and sophisticated, sassy and girlie, or just plain goofy and fun? What’s neat is they are all me. I just choose what I let shine that day. And just like that I created my FIRST jumpsuit! I have been obsessed with jumpsuits for … well as my hubby would put it at least as long as we’ve been together. 5 years in November. 🙃 They are so comfy in my opinion. I couldn’t wait to share this with you all because sometimes we get in our own way. We lack the confidence to do something that isn’t as scary as we thought. This jumpsuit has been on my to do list for over a year if that isn’t example enough. I just used what I learned so far in @Sewitacademy when I made my leggings.
