FAVORITE BOOKS okay. let's see.

Seraphina by Rachel Hartman is a good one. it's a fantasy book about this girl seraphina who's half dragon in a world where being a dragon is not a great thing to be. she and the dragons are SO VERY autistic it just touched a place in my heart that made me feel so. so seen. clutches my heart. best book. so fucking good. there's a mystery and political court drama and music and math and a not quite romance with a guy who's technically not on the market

The Book Thief is also one of my favorites. I should reread it actually. I don't even have words t describe it. if you've read it you know what I mean. it's the kind of book that sounds utterly depressing but the tone is just so. like. no matter what you have to do what's right and the sun will shine again. death as the narrator... ough

Pride and Prejudice, Jane Austen ofc, is one of my top favorites. it's very rereadable, not all of her books are imo. I just love that story it's so good

Little Women I also love. one of those books that makes me feel like a little kid getting read one (1) chapter a day during school time. the characters and dynamics are all so real I think that's why the story has been as popular as it is. sure times have changed but there have always been sisters and families and relationships like that.

Catching Fire - all the hunger games books, but catching fire is my favorite. I can't explain it!! just something about it gets me and I'm obsessed!

Hiya! I'm always happy to a) make lists, b) infodump about Star Wars! So, I have a lot of favorite characters (I mean...a lot. I couldn't even fit them into a top ten if I tried), so I kind of swap everyone around except my first two as the hyperfixations hit me! Anyway, so my current top five probably looks something like this:

10. Kiss in the rain

Even the sudden shower doesn't stop the pair from clinging to each other. They're giggling and murmuring to each other.

"I already miss you~"

"You know damn well you're gonna text or call me when you get home."

That makes Vincent smile. He leans down and presses a kiss to their lips, which they happily reciprocate. They're smiling against each other's lips, hugging tightly as the rain picks up into a downpour. They're so absorbed in each other's presence that they don't hear the door a small ways away swing open.

"Get off Elvira, ya creep!"

They both pull away, and Elvira glares at their baby sister. "Go back inside, Cheryl! Goddamn..." They sheepishly turn to their boyfriend, who's luckily not wounded by the teen's outburst.

"Guess this means goodbye for now."

"Yea... Be safe, okay, Vincent?"

He nods, pressing another kiss to their lips before pulling away, letting them go and watching his beloved rush inside from the rain. He gets into his car and sighs, drying off his glasses. His phone buzzes. He grabs it, and he can't help but grin.

and maybe, just maybe, the dream was about you. you might have to pry the information out of him though. c;
