#28: “I thought we were family!”

V is going over to Jumin’s penthouse to share a glass ofwine with his friend just like old times. After everything that has happenedwith Rika and Mint Eye, it’s good to finally kick-back and relax a little.What’s even better is that V decided to get the eye surgery, with the help ofJumin of course. V knocked on the door of the CEO’s penthouse door and a momentlater it opens to find the CEO himself, suit, tie and all.  

“Good to see you Jihyun. Please, come in” Jumin greets. Vpresents a smile and nods, walking in once Jumin moves aside for him. Once Vwalks into the room, he can see that at the table there’s a bottle of wine,which is most likely very expensive, as well as two clear, see through wineglass. The table itself is placed in front of the city view where anyone wholooks through can easily see the rushing cars and city lights at night, but ofcourse the view is breathtaking no matter the time of day.

“Please, take a seat” Jumin says, breaking V out of hisspacing out from being in awe at the view. V walks over to the table, whereJumin is already seated, and puts his jacket on the back of the chair. Jumin ispouring crimson coloured wine into the two glasses for them to drink as theycatch up on things. Once Jumin is done he hands a glass over to V, who has finallytaken a seat at the other end of the table.

“Thank you, Jumin.” V thanks with a nod as he takes theglass from Jumin. Jumin just nods back to him with a small smile and takes asip of sweet, red coloured wine from his glass. “What would you like to talkabout, its been so long, where do we even start?” V asks with a small chuckle.

“How has your sight been since the procedure?” Jumin startsoff.  

“Well, it’s been good so far. I can see so that’s good” Vchuckled.

“And I trust that after 2 years of your sudden disappearancethat you did not lie and everything is better with you and your feelings and habits?”Jumin continues. The atmosphere changes all of a sudden and V’s expressionchanged from a lighthearted one to a more serious one.

“Actually,” V starts, “at the time I thought so but,recently old habits are resurfacing…” Jumin breaths an audible sigh in disappointment.

“Come on Jihyun, you make sure that everything is 100% incheck before saying anything. Do you have a course of action for this problem?”Jumin asks in his businessman tone.

“I was thinking to just let things go as they are, I mean, Iwas able to suppress it quite a bit so I should be good for now. If it startsto get out of hand, I’ll get help I promise.” V states calmly.

“That’s not good enough! You should get help before itreaches to that level not when it does, that’ll just create a bigger mess.”Jumin says with slight irritation in his voice.

“Jumin, I know that you are just trying to help and all,but, can you just support what I would like to do, that is what family does foreach other.”

“Who thought we were family?” Jumin asks, seemingly void ofemotions but he is still surprised.

V’s eyes go wide at the words that just escaped his childhoodfriend’s lips. “I thought we werefamily!” V raises his voice a little, sadness and anger being poured intoeach word. The two have been friends basically since birth, why wouldn’t they bothconsider each other family?

“Well you thought wrong Jihyun.” Jumin states coldly. Silencefollows after, V starting at Jumin with wide eyes while Jumin’s eyes have a steelcold look in them. Moments pass by and since no one is talking or anything else,V stands up, grabs his coat and heads for the door.

Right before V opens the door he mumbles “GoodbyeJumin” and leaves, all while Jumin does nothing to stop him from doing so.

Little shorter than usual but I still think it’s okay! Hope you guys liked it too ^^

Yes, I hate you. you left me but I never stopped thinking about you, not even a day. Honestly, I miss you but now I’ll erase you because that will hurt less than resenting you. (x,x)

Nope,I don’t ship this! Jumin is mine! But I will give you some fluff…kind of...sort of...I needed some Jumin angst before the fluff....

 Thewaves lapped at Jumin’s feet, his pants were rolled up, his shirt unbuttoned. He’dtaken off his shoes, tucking his socks into them, his tie as well. He hadn’tintended to come here, but the day had been so stressful, he just wanted to getaway from everyone. He’d made sure the beach was empty before heading towardsthe shore. His security team stayed far away from him, letting him have some semblanceof privacy.

Therewere days like this when he hated who he was. He’d spent so many yearsdisregarding his emotions, he wasn’t sure what he felt about anything anymore. He’donly ever been vulnerable around Rika and V. But it had been so long since Rika’sdeath and V’s disappearance, he wasn’t sure he would know how to open up toanyone anymore. A single tear trailed down his cheek, his emotion attempting toescape in some form or another. He didn’t bother to wipe it away, at least itwas proof, if only to himself, that he was still capable of feeling.

He hearda cat’s meow behind him and he quickly turned towards the noise. A large fluffycat sauntered down the beach towards him. The fur was an unusual color, blue.Blue like V’s hair. Jumin’s heart leapt at the sight and he grinned.

Thecat reached him and butted his head against Jumin’s thigh, purring happily.Jumin scratched behind his ears gently.

“Wherehave you been?” he asked V. “Why did you leave for so long?” he knew he wouldget no answer, but at least V could hear what he was asking. Would know what hewas thinking.

“I’vemissed you terribly.” He picked him up and cradled him in his arms, nuzzlinghis face against V’s. His tears were falling faster now as he held onto V.

“Whydid you leave me? I needed you. I’ve always needed you.”

Vmewled and licked Jumin’s tears, nosing his ear, burying his face into Jumin’shair. He reverted and was suddenly sitting on Jumin’s lap, naked, his hair alittle longer and more ragged. His eyes were deep pools of regret.

“Don’tcry Jumin. I’m sorry. I won’t ever leave you again.” He cradled Jumin’s chin inhis hands and leaned in for a kiss. Jumin’s arms slithered around V’s waist,pulling him in closer. It was as if a dam had burst in Jumin. He felt as if hewas drowning in the sea of emotions and V was his lifeline. He clung to him,desperate and afraid.

Vpulled away, laying his forehead against Jumin’s, “I love you you know.” He whispered.

“Iknow. I love you too. I always have. I’m sorry I never told you, when we werekids.”

“Youloved me even then?” V smiled, staring into Jumin’s steel grey eyes, whichalways seemed to hide everything. They hid nothing now.

Juminmirrored V’s smile and nodded. “Since the day you asked me to be your model andteased me about how stiff I was. When you showed me the pictures, you pointedout all the good things about me, you made me see myself in a whole new light,and I loved you for it.”

Vlaughed, remembering the day clearly, he hadn’t wanted to stop taking picturesof Jumin because the more he took, the more Jumin had seemed to relax, to enjoythe process. He’d been beautiful, even then.

“Andthen you met Rika, and it was too late.” He sighed heavily, lowering his head.

Vtipped his head back with his forefinger, “I’m sorry if I hurt you.”

“Iwas used to it. I only wanted you to be happy.”

“SometimesI wonder how different my life would have been if I’d admitted my feelings foryou before meeting Rika.” V shook his head. “We both waited too long. I’m notsaying I didn’t love Rika, I did, still do, but, you were my first love. Ifonly…” he let the thought fall and crumble.

“V.”Jumin whispered

“Yes.”V answered.

“CanI kiss you again?”

“Yes.”

Juminran his hand up V’s chest, painfully aware of his nakedness, and around hisneck, pulling him down for another kiss. Their lips met, soft and pliant, Juminslid his tongue into V’s mouth, V took it and sucked on it gently, then moreaggressively, Jumin felt his pants getting tighter with his growing erection. Hisbreathing coming in harsher and faster. The skin under his fingers tingled andburned.

Vpulled away, breathless, his head spinning.

“Maybewe should go home?” he suggested. Jumin smiled and nodded. It took V a coupleof minutes to clear his head enough to transform. Jumin grabbed his shoes,dusted off the sand as best he could and headed towards his security and hiscar, V at his feet purring.
