Trying Anyway” [Intro – soft, strained] Feels impossible… But I’m trying anyway…

[Verse 1 – tired, honest] Every step feels heavy like I’m dragging my past, Every breath feels thin like it might be my last. My body says quit, my mind says run, But I’m still here, even when I come undone. I’ve failed before, yeah, I know that script, I’ve watched my own hope slip through my grip. But something in me won’t let me fade, Even when the progress feels handmade.

[Pre‑Chorus – rising but still drained] I don’t feel strong, I don’t feel brave, I’m just trying not to fall back in the same old wave. It feels impossible, but I’m still on my feet— Barely moving, but I won’t retreat.

[Chorus – emotional, minimal] It feels impossible, but I’m trying anyway, Even when my body’s begging me to fade away. I’m scared of the loop, scared of the fall, But I’m still pushing through it all. I don’t feel ready, don’t feel okay— But I’m trying anyway.

[Verse 2 – more internal, more vulnerable] I know this place, I’ve been here before, Same cold floor, same locked door. But something’s different in the way I break— I’m not running off, I’m staying awake. I don’t got energy, I don’t got fire, Just a quiet little voice that says “go higher.” And maybe that’s enough to get me through, Even when I don’t know what to do.

[Bridge – whispered, shaky] I don’t feel strong… But I’m still here… I don’t feel ready… But I’m not disappearing…

She was a dream, before she was sought for, Who in time, taught me how to see dreams I was too afraid to fall asleep for. Like all and sundry, my presence to her was embellished. But now, she’s the only one around me, who doesn’t make me feel like a lion in a cage, Made of forgivable flaws and ignored frailty

Trust me, There’s magic in her eyes, I’ve seen it in the way that she watches the sun Cast a spot light on unsung flora, for everyone to encircle.

She’s a woman of intricacies and modesty; The best teacher of patience and honesty. Of the places she’s been, she resides by the sea Until she is ready to let go of the pendulum,  and mettle with the bowline, Gently latching a collection of emblems,  of special memories and our luring coastline.

Trust me, There’s tenderness within her armour. I strive to weed through her mind as intimately, As she reads the earth. But In its danger, she waits.

She is the type of girl you want to spend  all of your favourite moments with, Because you know she will capture them all. But then she will take them when she leaves To another temporary home, Which she will let trace a map, Upon her marvel heart 

Trust me, There’s delicacy in her steps. I’ve spent many dances trying to stop stumbling On the path she’s taking - shaped like shadows of manque

She’s the only one that makes the ground Feel as if it’s beneath my feet, And the sky – out of reach. I’ve awaited many of her wandering answers, And now I wonder, what would we look like now, Had she given me everything I wanted, Instead of everything I needed.
