-Painite is the leader of the group and the oldest (and the most vicious). He's VERY bossy.
-His second is the huge and gentle Dioptase, the one helping the youngest and giving them works.
-Crimsonite and Inderite are the youngest and work partners. Crimsonite arrived on the Island 300 years ago, and did not remember his past, but loves winter! Inderite is his fun-loving partner.
-The Duftite Twins are very chaotic, but like to do their work and do whatever Painite or Dioptase tells them to do.
-Botryogen and Voltaite are very cool and love adrenaline works. Botryogen is the coolest gem and Voltaite is the cutest (or, at least, they like to say it)
-Despujolsite is kinda lazy, and he wants to do as Painite does- but he's not very good at his work. So he only works outside the Village, taking away the ice from the windows and streets.

Cuprite is a soft-spoken, polite and quiet gem, but its NOT boring. His mind is constantly full of thoughts, new ideas, new projects, but he's very aloof and usually doesn't talk about it. He DRAWS it. Draws A LOT, and if he likes you enugh, he will show you all his projects. for HOURS. But he's so cute you won't say "no"!
How Cupri reached the Mountain Island is a mystery. He was probably born on the Original Island since he had protection on his body, but he reached for the island by walking on the seabed for HUNDRED OF KILOMETERS, and he had various cracks and missing parts, and no fingers and toes. Poor baby.
He was the first to arrive on the Island after the first 5 reached that island by boat. They attached copper to Cupri's body, at least to help his inclusions to heal him. But the inclusions liked copper so much that integrated it to his already VERY coppery body (Cuprite is made 80% by copper!) and re-created his fingers, all the cracks healed and now he's even a bit taller. And can draw SO MUCH better with his new fingers!
KUPFERBLAU:
the "kupferblau" is a special variety of Azurite, having silica (quartz) skeleton. So this Kupferblau has an inside skeleton of pure white quartz, giving him a very sharp smile and some cool white hair.
Kup likes to say that he's a geographer and a cartographer, but he's just an adventurer looking for ADVENTURE! He loves to find new spaces and islands, and he's very friend with Admirabilis living on the lakes and rivers! Since he has a hard quartz skeleton, he can go and not be too careful.
He and Cuprite bonded instantly because Kup is bubbly and talktive, and Cupri is a sulky and quiet. And they are "blue copper" and "red copper", so they OBVIOUSLY bonded! He often goes on adventure with Carl, and gives Kosmo nice spots to plant and cut trees. He's very useful for the Village!
And he's SUPER TALL and a bit THICCER than the usual gem, too!
VOLTAITE:
Volta is the youngest of the Frost Squad, being only 408 (around Phos' age), and he's still learning all the tricks. Yet, he seems very skilled and can ski on snow and skate on ice with extreme easiness even for his young age (under 800 years, gems are considered young)
He still falls very easily and its forbidden to him to go to dangerous places, but with his partner Botryogen they still have A LOT OF FUN!
Volta is considered very cute even in the high standards of the gem world. Probably its the puppy eyes.
TUBULITE:
Tubo is the youngest gem born on the island, only 8 years ago. His very high weight, his strange tubular conformation (hence the name) and his chemical similiarity to Laurite makes the two of them inseparable. Laurite explains Tubulite all he needs, and Tubo likes to be spoiled.
Laurite believes Tubo can control some metal like him with his Osmium/Iridium/Ruthenium or Wulfe with his natural molybdenum, but it's still unsure. Maybe silver, but Tubo is way too young to even use it. We don't know.
He's still learning history and language to Putnisite's "school", he can talk well but he still stutters a little. Don't be fooled, he knows EXACTLY what he wants to say! He has already quite a fiery character...
