   “Well- for starters, people with good intentions don’t typically stalk around in the shadows like you’ve been doing.” The detective began, keeping emerald hues locked upon the man, her stance prepared to make a swift grab for her gun if so needed. 

    “And let’s just say my sense of reading people is pretty keen. It’s my job after all as a detective.” She could feel it- something about the stranger was off, and not in the normal sense. The air around him seemed cold, dangerous- leaving her wondering if her firearm would be enough if he so chose to become hostile.
