Would some sort of synesthesia work as a quirk? Thanks!
Absolutely! One of my mods actually has a quirk like this. Ayane Yamada has the quirk Visual Sound which is based on chromesthesia, which is sound-to-color synesthesia. As long as she car hear it, Ayane can see sound, typically as colorful sound waves.
Some types would transfer into a quirk more easily than others. Mirror-Touch Synesthesia could be done simply by letting the quirk user pick the target and can also be a form of empathy.
Number Form could be done by the user being able to make visual numbers appear around them (visible to others).
Auditory-Tactile Synestheia could be adjusted where the user makes a specific sound to cause a desired sensation in the target (as opposed to the user feeling the sensation themself).
Just a couple examples, but you get the idea of how you could alter types of synesthesia into functional quirks. I think for most of them, it’s just about establishing how it might affect others (though Ayane’s Visual Sound is only perceived by her).
