someone said that an Orpheus that didn’t look back is an Orpheus that never went to the underworld in the first place and oh I am SICK.

i love that when hermes tells orpheus not to come on too strong, jack kind of gives kurt this annoyed “yeah i know, relax” look before immediately saying “come home with me” to eurydice and how hermes puts his head in his hands like an aggravated father with a son who doesn’t listen to his advice. it’s a little moment but it provides so much insight into what orpheus and hermes’ relationship is like.

I have a beautiful vision of Mel ending up in a pickle while trying to escape with an unconscious Zagreus and then a ragtag band of strangers turning up to help her get him out. A warrior from elysium with a spear, a guy with a giant boulder, a tree nymph and a minotaur are ready to pay their debts to the prince at all costs.
