Was Filing a False Birth Certificate and Was Medical Fraud Committed By Alba?
How did Alba have a baby in Massachusetts when she's been in Portugal the ENTIRE time?
I'm a medical coder. For the past several hours, we've heard about the news that Chris Evans is a dad. We've seen so many congratulatory posts, some posts that are in shock, and some are devasted. But, before we even react even further, let's break this down from a medical coding perspective.
She claimed that she was five months along in July.
According to the ICD-10, five months gestation is this:
Z3A.20 20 weeks gestation of pregnancy
Here's the second ICD-10 code that we would need for five months gestation:
Z43.02 Encounter for supervision of normal first pregnancy, second trimester.
This would have been written in her MA medical records.
At that point, Alba would want to know if she's having a boy or a girl.
Facts:
1A) She hasn't been in the US since November of 2024. If she had been in the US since 2022, she would have filled out and filed all of the necessary immigration papers and immigration document.
1B) She's been banned from the US for immigration fraud, visa fraud, and marriage fraud.
1C) She was flat in July, 2025. She was seen vaping, drinking, and even hiking-an activity that really isn't recommended for women who are 20 weeks in pregnancy. Moderate exercise is fine, even a walk on flat terrain is fine. You wouldn't overdue it like that. You also wouldn't be vaping and drinking like that. Plus, her bridesmaid dress would be altered to fit a growing bump. Plus, she also wouldn't be allowed to fly at five months gestation.
2) There would be an ultrasound that didn't come from a Google search that was copied and pasted. The ultrasound would be coming from Chris and Alba, maybe even with the ultrasound and announcement if Alba was having a boy or a girl.
We would have a CPT code on Alba's medical records reflecting that she did have an ultrasound, with a modifier indicating where she had that done, along with a place of service code.
That would look like this:
76811 Ultrasound, real time image with image documentation, fetal and maternal evaluation, plus detailed fetal anatomic examination, transabdominal approach, single or first gestation.
This would mean that when Alba got her 20 week ultrasound and would find out if she was carrying a boy or carrying a girl.
Now, with that being said, we would know where the ultrasound was performed using one of these two modifiers:
2A) If the ultrasound was done in the office setting, we would see this modifier:
-26. This means that the ultrasound was performed at the clinic, using their equipment.
Here's the place of service code:
11. This means that the ultrasound was performed in obstetricians office.
2B) If the ultrasound was done in the hospital, we would see this:
-TC. Technical component. This means that the ultrasound was performed in the hospital setting.
Here's the place of service code:
22. This means that the ultrasound was performed at the hospital.
There's NO ultrasound photo, and NO ultrasound was ever performed. So, we have no credible evidence that she had this procedure done.
If there was, she would have posted this, along with Chris.
Here's where it gets even more interesting and even more bizarre.
3) Alba claims the she delivered over the weekend. Was it on Friday? Was it on Saturday? Was it on Sunday? Was it yesterday?
Let's revisit our first point, where I gave the ICD-10 code for five months gestation. This time, we're going to add the delivery.
Here's the ICD-10 code that we need for 40 weeks gestation, which we'll need for delivery.
Z3A.40 40 weeks gestation of pregnancy
We'll also need this code:
Z34.03 Encounter of supervision of normal first pregnancy, third trimester.
So, this means if Alba gave birth, this would be written in her chart, indicating that she was admitted for delivery.
3A) The second ICD-10 code indicates that she was seen before delivery, and upon delivery. She would have a fetal ultrasound done, and have been hooked up to a fetal monitor. Again, we have no credible evidence that this took place.
Now, let's say she had a typical vaginal delivery. We would need this CPT code:
59400 Routine obstetric care including antepartum care, vaginal delivery (with or without episiotomy, and/or forceps) and postpartum care.
This means that she was seen for routine care and that she had delivered a baby. All of the care that she would need post delivery is included in this code, so we might not even need separate codes.
There's no credible evidence that she had delivered a baby.
Here's another CPT code that we can use:
59409 Vaginal delivery only (with or without episiotomy, and/or forceps)
This also means that Alba had a vaginal delivery. Again, we have no credible evidence of this.
We would also need this ICD-10 code that indicates that she had delivered vaginally.
Z38.00 Single liveborn infant, delivered vaginally.
3B) Now, let's get back to the ICD-10 for a minute. If she had a single, live birth, we would need this ICD-10 code, indicating that she had given birth:
Z37.0 Single live birth
This indicates that she had ONE baby. Again, we have no credible evidence that a live birth took place.
We would need this ICD-10 code after the delivery:
Z39.0 Encounter for care and examination of mother, immediately after delivery.
Now that we have this, we still have no credible evidence that Alba gave birth.
If Alba delivered at a hospital, we would need this place of service code:
11. This indicates that Alba delivered in the hospital.
We also need this ICD-10 code to indicate that Alba had a hospital delivery.
Z38.0 Single liveborn infant, born in hospital.
3C) If Alba delivered in a birthing center, we would need this place of service code:
25. This indicates that Alba delivered at a birthing center.
We have no evidence that she delivered in a hospital, and there's no evidence she delivered at a birthing center.
If Alba had a home delivery, we would need this place of service code:
12. This indicates that Alba had a home birth.
The above is an impossible scenario. Alba has been banned from the United States for immigration fraud, visa fraud, and marriage fraud.
3D) For the delivery of the placenta, we would now need this CPT code, indicating that she delivered a placenta after the baby was born:
59414 Delivery of placenta (separate procedure)
Again, we don't have any credible evidence that this procedure has occurred.
4) If Alba had delivered, she would already start to be seen for antepartum and for postpartum care.
If she was being seen for antepartum care, we would need these CPT codes:
59425 Antepartum care, 4-6 visits
We have no evidence that she's currently being seen for any antepartum care.
4A) If she continued for another visit, on a doctors recommendation, we would need this CPT code:
59426 Antepartum care, 7 or more visits
Again, we don't have any credible evidence that she's being seen for antepartum care.
4B) For postpartum care, we would need this CPT code:
59430 Postpartum care only (separate procedure).
Again, there's no credible evidence that Alba even had a baby.
Did Alba actually have a baby? No! I don't have access to her medical records. Given the timelines, and given what I'm posting, Alba didn't have a baby. So how did she really have a baby in MA when she's been in Portugal, claiming to be pregnant?
Given that she filled out a birth certificate that I know is fraudulent, Alba was never pregnant. Alba would also be given strict after care instructions for her postpartum care, and she would also be told when it's safe to resume her normal activities.
I know this reads like AAPC the Magazine. I read AAPC the Magazine in order to stay current. AAPC stands for the American Academy of Professional Coders. Luckily, I didn't include a quiz.
Did Alba commit medical fraud? All of this points to yes. Again, I don't have access to her medical records, as those are private, and would be covered under HIPAA.
Did fill out a fraudulent birth certificate? Yes. You don't get a birth certificate three or four days after you give birth, when it takes 7-10 days to file, and even a few more weeks to process. Plus, the birth certificate was vertical, not horizontal. Plus, there would be a signature from Chris, a signature from Alba, a signature from a doctor, midwife, doula, or other healthcare professional, and there would be signature from a clerk in Sudbury, or from a clerk in Boston, not from a Clerk in Concorde!
What can be done now?
This can be reported to the MA Office of the Inspector general. They will investigate this, per MA laws.
It can also be reported to the OIG on a federal level.
The birth certificate can be reported on an internal level.
All three will be investigated once someone reports this.
I didn't need a deck of tarot cards. All I needed was my ICD-10-CM, my CPT book, and my HCPCS book.
Also, I don't know how people believe this. There's too many people on team real to name, here.
The math ain't mathing.
hey shawty :) just popping in to inquire after any “got married for a visa, fell in love anyway” type fics. preferably one shots or completed! I checked the fake marriage tag but the url wasn’t working on mobile. thank you for your wonderful library of fics!!!

fake marriage
— misnomer by moonstrvck & restrospectiveghost (M | wip | 30k+)
desperate times call for desperate measures, and Dream and George might find themselves desperate enough to jump headfirst into a plan that will change their lives forever.

Fine," Dream sighed, entirely worn down and tired of arguing, "Whatever, I'll just marry you, George." Fake dating au in which Dream finally agrees to marry George so he can move in with him and Sapnap. Of course, it isn't a real marriage, they just have to keep up appearances and not fall in love. That should be easy... Right?
— Loop Hole by That1Random (gen | wip | 9k+)
They did this to get George a visa. That's it...right?
— some persuasion required by alreadyhateyou (expl. | comp. | 51k)
When all else fails, and that is when literally everything else failed, with rejected visas and a hopelessness that their plans will never come to fruition, at least Dream and George still have each other. And, well, if that is what they truly only have left, maybe they should just take it as far as they can, green-card marriage and all. As long as George can convince Dream they are totally, completely, 100% in love, of course.

Authorities comparing the illegal operation to “modern-day slavery.”
Operation Blooming Onion
A multi-agency investigation led by Homeland Security named “Operation Blooming Onion” spanned over at least three years revealed at least 100 victims of modern-day slavery were exploited into the U.S. and imprisoned under inhumane conditions as contract agricultural laborers.
In November 2018, several agencies began to investigate the Patricio transnational criminal organization for allegedly engaged in human trafficking, visa fraud, forced labor, mail fraud, money laundering and other crimes.
The newly unsealed 54-count indictment in USA v. Patricio also alleges that in or before 2015, the suspects and their associates would fraudulently use the H-2A work visa program to smuggle foreign nationals from Mexico, Guatemala, and Honduras into the U.S. under the pretext of serving as agricultural workers.
“The American dream is a powerful attraction for destitute and desperate people across the globe, and where there is need, there is greed from those who will attempt to exploit these willing workers for their own obscene profits,” said David H. Estes, Acting U.S. Attorney.
“Thanks to outstanding work from our law enforcement partners, Operation Blooming Onion frees more than 100 individuals from the shackles of modern-day slavery and will hold accountable those who put them in chains.”
Inhumane working conditions
Authorities say the illegal operations took place within the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Georgia; the Middle District of Florida; the Southern District of Texas; and Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and elsewhere.
According to the indictment, the suspects required the workers to pay unlawful fees for transportations, food, and housing — while illegally withholding their travel and identification documents, and subjected the workers “to perform physically demanding work for little or no pay, housing them in crowded, unsanitary, and degrading living conditions, and by threatening them with deportation and violence.”
At least two workers died under the working conditions, another was repeatedly raped, while others were kidnapped and threatened with death.
Workers were also forced to work at gunpoint, dig onions with their bare hands, paid 20 cents for each bucket harvested, and many were sold or traded to other conspirators.
$200M illegal operation
Authorities say the suspects reaped more than $200 million from the illegal operation — buying land, homes, vehicles and businesses while funneling millions of dollars through a casino.
Additionally, the indictment alleges that in late 2019 — three of the conspirators attempted to intimidate and persuade a witness to lie to a federal grand jury and deny any knowledge of the illegal activities of the Patricio organization.
The defendants face charges that can carry up to a life sentence.
According to the Department of Justice, the operation represents one of the country’s largest human-trafficking and visa fraud investigations.
“OCDETF Operation Blooming Onion maximized the expertise of multiple law enforcement agencies and leveraged analytical and coordination support from OCDETF’s International Organized Crime Intelligence and Operations Center (IOC-2) to target an international criminal organization engaged in human trafficking and visa fraud,” said OCDETF Director Adam W. Cohen.
“The U.S. Attorney’s Office’s leadership of this multi-agency law enforcement effort positions us to disrupt and dismantle the operations of transnational criminal networks that pose the greatest threat to our communities and to the Nation.”

Up to 100 Afghans evacuated from Afghanistan and seeking to resettle in the United States have been "flagged" by terrorism watch lists.
As President Joe Biden’s administration looks to fast-track tens of thousands of Afghans into the U.S. interior over the next few weeks, Defense Department officials are reportedly sounding the alarm over the potential for fraud.
