You have no idea how much I want a Murkrow for the express purpose of naming her Sucy and showing her to everyone.

What light does he view his scribe in? Like is he the often under-appreciated but respected advisor (kinda like the Iroh to Asel’s Zuko), or is he more of the ignored, taken-for-granted servant? Sorry, I like asking questions about characters… I enjoy the little details!
asel relies on him a lot! the scribe is jumari, and he is well appreciated- asel knows very well that jumari is a very strategic, educated dragon but asel has a habit of putting his leading responsibilities on him. jumari’s almost an older brother figure to him, and asel believes that he’s better qualified for kingship, however, they do get frustrated with each other from time to time.

We watched that film in my high school English class, and I still have no idea how we got permission (I still don’t think we ever did to begin with). Regardless, always a joy to watch!
If you did have permission, it’s probably because it’s a very faithful retelling of Shakespeare’s The Taming of the Shrew with a better ending. High-school Shakespeare (and other classic lit) AUs were fairly common in the late 90s/early 00′s, but I’d argue that 10 Things is the best of them.

Thank you! (and also congrats on that pun) We had to make a run to the emergency vet bc she started vomiting, but she got some fluids to help with dehydration, some medication to settle her stomach, and we’ve only got 6.5 hours until her regular vet opens so we’re going to call them in the morning and see what steps they want us to take.
