i always feel so bad clicking "no they're not my favourite" on the pokemon polls. i wish we had like a "no but i still like them" option, because some of these mons don't get enough love, even though i love them
I understand, and I think it's really sweet to want to spread the appreciation! It is the reason why the propaganda/endorsements are open, or even just leaving a nice tag or reply is highly encouraged, even if they're not your fav ^^ I personally find it really nice to read what qualities people like about my own favs, and sometimes find new qualities to appreciate on some 'mons I overlooked!
Best I can suggest if either of those don't quite overcome that feeling, though, is to try re-framing your perspective, and celebrating the few 'fav' votes the pokemon do get. Someone gets what the pokemon was trying to do and it worked really well for them. Every design appeals to someone, and I think it's a good feeling to see something that can help put that in action ^^
