Considering the more recent findings of the catch combos shiny effect, I will probably never do catch combos unless it is to highten the catch chance or the amount of species appearing. (I forgot who the  leaker was, but something about only the Pokémon in the combo, like the ones spawning after making the combo were affected, not really worth it tbh.)
