Please enjoy an excerpt from my 6 part tutorial for Fritz Kreisler’s Tempo di Minuetto. The complete video is on my YouTube channel: https://youtu.be/i11jb2zbA0Y This particular video covers mm 44-51 or the beginning of the middle section of the piece. Kreisler was an Austrian born American violinist and composer known regarded as one of the greatest violinists of all time. He was known for his sweet, expressive tone and phrasing and was the first major string player to apply vibrato more or less continuously. Kreisler composed many short pieces like Tempo di Minuetto, which he passed off for many years as the creations of past composers rather than his own. He revealed his ruse in a 1935 interview. When critics complained, Kreisler replied, “The name changes, the value remains” #violin #violinteacher #violinlesson #violintutorial #violintechnique #violinpedagogy #fritzkreisler #tempodiminuetto #kreisler #coolteacher #suzukiteacher #musiceducation #stringsattached #strings #stringplayer #musician #musiciansofinstagram #classical #classicalmusic #practiceroom #classicalviolinist #classicalviolin #violinlove #musicianlife #musiclover #beautifulmusic #violinguy (at Washington D.C.) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEHA1UKgfqe/?igshid=171v8dn5tdl1k
