I bought a violin today and decided to learn to play.... Turns out I need to work on my bow hand strength and my shoulder strength in general, holding my right elbow up made my shoulder sore after awhile
Look, I get that B flat major is supposed to be a happy scale and everything, but I am suffering.
Anyway, minor scales rock. Or maybe I should say slay? They're definitely the kind of tune you'd slay to. Literally.
Just looked at my sheet music and said (out loud) "What the fuck, I don't know how to read??"

Day 55 out of 100 days of practice~
Today I’m a bit sick (and still have to go to work tomorrow, yay) so I thought I should just practice songs or pieces I really, really like. My cats slept next to me the entire time.
Also now I’m feeling a bit better and decided to make a cake (for the first time).
