@violetviolxnce cont. from here.
Shannon has a nasty habit of creeping into Abel’s apartment before he returns from his work. It was often late, but she never minds. Of course, the Brutal still has a key, and it takes far less energy to open the door like a normal human being versus teleporting in.
Just the same, the woman enters, finding the apartment dark and quiet. Her footfalls are light, lighter than Abel’s are, and she begins flipping on lights.
“Lennon!” she hears the cat hissing in another room. “It’s just me!”
That’s not Mimn. She pressed her tongue to the roof of her mouth and exhales. Who else could it be? She would have appreciated a more thorough briefing, but Administration rarely works like that. She thought she’d have the place to herself while she figured out the state of things.
Apparently not.
Sera shuffles the papers and sets them back down-- she’ll have a chance to read them after this is dealt with. She rests a hand lightly on her holster and eases towards the door to get an eye on her guest.
