Okay, so I just finished watching Chicago fire 9x15 and...
Mouch - it sucked that he couldn't get a large fanfare for his medal, he definitely deserved it even if it's not necessarily his style.
Gallo and Violet - nope. I liked them the first time but they burned that bridge so hard, I don't ship them this time and I really hope they don't become a thing. Also, I thought Violet's last name was Lin but now it's Mikami apparently? Still a little confused.
Matt and Sylvie - we are SO close to brettsey, I'm so on edge now, if the next episode doesn't end with them together I'm gonna cry. (But can we talk about Capp and his TERRIBLE timing?!) Also, I'm done with Dawson being brought up. She's gone, she's not in the show anymore, I'm really tired of her causing drama and messing up everyone else's lives WHEN SHE'S NOT EVEN THERE, so dawsey writers and fans can fuck right off.
Cruz - I'm glad he stuck to his guns and his morals, Mark gave off a sketchy vibe, but honestly he might have formed an attachment to Cruz because he saved him (there isn't actually a term for this but Nightengale syndrome is the closest) and was doing whatever he could to keep Cruz around. I wonder how this is gonna fit into the next season.
Severide and Stella - while I'm glad they're engaged and Stella's a lieutenant, watching the scene I was like; "... Seriously Severide? Of COURSE you propose to her while you're both stuck in a burning building."
Overall, I liked the episode and I'm really excited for 9x16!
I'm probably the only one, but honestly, I don't care, the news that Violet will be back made my fcking day. I can't wait for more scenes with her and Gallo, my ship will be back y'all ;-; Please don't take them away from me again.
I can't tell whether they're going to brush off Sylvie changing partners again or if it will be a part of the storyline. I know Kara talked about Sylvie being more of a mentor-figure going forward, and it's hard to tell whether Violet wants a mentor or not. I don't know how but there is definitely some room for comedy with how similar Gallo and Greg look. What are your thoughts about the Brett/Lin partnership?
At this point I think Sylvie’s probably used to having a lot of different partners so I wouldn’t count on this being too big of a storyline for her??? Let’s not forget she must have had a series of floaters filling in for Foster at the beginning of the pandemic so she’s probably learned not to get too attached by now. Which sucks, but I do love seeing Sylvie in a mentoring position because she’s been on 61 for years now.
As for Violet joining the firehouse and the Brett/Lin partnership, I think the adjustment will be interesting. Mackey had that badass spunk socially but she still had to adjust to being in a faster, more intense firehouse Violet, on the other hand, is not only prepared for that kind of work but is eager and thrives off of it. That’s why she and Gallo were drawn to each other I think— they both have a little bit of a thrill-seeking side to them. So I’m thinking Violet might be a little more self-assured and bold, making her and Brett’s partnership similar to that of Gallo and Casey’s perhaps?? It could cause conflict because all of Sylvie’s past ambo partners who had those qualities were closer to her age whereas now she’d have to mentor Violet. But it could also allow then to bond, especially if the synopsis for 9x11 is correct and they have a mystery to crack.

I have not watched last nights episode but I have scrolled through Tumblr and Twitter so I know that Mackey leaves and Violet comes I personally shipped Gallo x Violet more than Mallo please comment your opinions on the matter.
