the ocky wayyyy
The existence of the vindicator chef in MC: dungeons fascinates me primarily because of what it seems to imply about the illager culture/hierarchy. Like, not only do they have the exact same AI and base model as vindicators, they're also specifically named *vindicator* chefs. Why do their in-house chefs have the same level of combat training as a high-ranking member of their military. Are only vindicators allowed to become chefs? Do aspiring cooks have to do combat training alongside receiving an education in the culinary arts? Do they primarily do normal vindicator stuff and cooking is a side gig? What does any of this imply about the illager's cultural beliefs around food and cooking?
