when his words register, she stops dead. on tiptoe, with her arm still held above her head (in the middle of shoving a new bag of flour into her kitchen cupboard), she turns her wide, fairly bewildered gaze upon adrian. dark brows furrow. "what?" the very idea is—incomprehensible.

well, incomprehensible to her. she knows the average person probably finds him annoying at best and off-putting at worst, but when has average ever meant anything to her? so he's different; she's different, too. maybe that's why she likes him so much, her unshakeable fondness for him that crystalized before she even knew his face or his real name. blinking, she lowers herself back onto her heels and gently closes the cupboard. the whole time, she's looking at him. of course i don't, is her instinct. don't be silly. but she knows this fear down to its bones, knows its shape and the way it whispers. it isn't silly. "i don't secretly hate you," percy says. her voice is soft, but the words are firm in their sincerity. "not even a little. you're one of my best friends. my day's always better when i get to see you."

fox for angel ; having a deep love of the unknown and wanting to figure it out. i feel like they could be friends and feed ideas off of each other.

max for nicky ; there's no real reason for this but i feel deeply that max and nicky would be good friends. like nicky would get max into the park for free and they'd take photos at the well near the entrance.

peter for shelley ; i could see shelley being a way to help get peter into like a safer environment. offering him an internship at her practice or just being a sounding board to offer advice.

dipper for antlers ; antlers has an old man energy that i feel like aligns with gruncle stan if we're honest. i feel like there's an opportunity to film stuff around gravity falls / explore that end of that.

sandman for ian ; i am unsure if like the sandman haunts or scares but whatever they do i think that ian deserves the worse end of that all right. just a dose of karma coming his way
