The young cook glanced out beyond the small window that split the establishment into kitchen and cafe, noticing a few members of the public had wondered in. It made perfect sense to her, since it was already time for the cafe to open. But there hadn't been a waiter in sight... Vic checked the roster on the staff board in the kitchen, checking the date and to her shock, no one was due in until later on in the morning.
There had to be a mistake; however, with a clear determination, she didn’t hesitated and grabbed one of the order notepads and a pen. A complaint would be voiced later, but maybe this was a challenge.
Smile cheek to cheek, the cook greeted her guests and wondered over to the first.
“W-would you um... like a menu?”
