askku-chan replied to your post : "My treat." She put a glass of rum in front of the...
“I see. You don’t come here often?” She took a sip of her own drink. “I’m just enjoying my time alone.”
“Not really no... You know, you look really familiar. Haven I seen you somewhere before?” The man leans in for a closer look, trying to place the woman’s face but having a difficult time.

“Come on, you’ve got to go spread your wings!” For the fifth time, the fluffy captain bent her knees and straightened them, flinging out an arm, but to no avail. The tiny pterosaur’s talons remained securely wrapped around her wrist, a look of pure stubbornness on its face.
Bride huffed irritably, even in spite of its attempt at puppy eyes and affection nuzzling to her cheek. Where was its parent? Why, oh why did beasts have to love her so much? Who could help her sever this creature’s attachment to her so it could be free to roam to its heart’s content? (In all honesty, SHE could easily pry it off and apply force but for a brief period, it had been one of her many pets.)
Looking for a scapegoat to hand this problem to, Bride turned to head in the direction of where the Smiling Eyes was docked, only for her golden gaze to behold a stranger... Her eyes glittered a second with mischief.
“Hey~ How do you feel about mutant bird monsters?”

👻 ┊ Really, her luck with the warlords was uncanny. She’s came across Crocodile, used to work with Moriah, pretty much lives with Mihawk, and now is in the process of floating right in front of Kuma. Who was now a girl. That war and those 2 years really did change a lot. ❝ Bartholomew Kuma... Your hat is super CUTE! ❞ She’s been meaning to tell the warlord that for a while now.
Tsuji was walking along with his group, he didn’t have much of a choice but to stay with them. Even after about seven years of being together his Leader didn’t trust him much at all. It was probably next to none. His name was Hitaki, but no one ever called him that. Usually just called him “The Boss.”
As they went through town they stopped at some houses, taverns, shops, etc. Basically anyone that owed them money, they shook down, beat, or killed. So far the body count for today was four and it was still only eleven in the morning! New record? Shouldn’t joke like that, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. But they eventually made their way to a book shop. It was one of the only ones that were on the island, if not the only one. It looked more like a small library than a shop.
They headed inside and as “The Boss” handled the shop keeper the other bandits, including Tsuji just wandered around. None of them really knew how to read at all, apart from maybe more recognizable words like; “Food.” “It.” “Is.” Basically any word that was four letters and down could be recognized. But Tsuji was never taught. He just sat at one of the tables and looked at the pictures in one of the books he took off a shelf.
