Almost like they were two old friends (the term being used LOOSELY since Otto didn’t fully trust ANYONE) having a casual lunch date, Dr. Octavius couldn’t help but speak up about the question that had come to mind after watching Herman use his gauntlets all these years. There was rarely a thing such as a stupid question, and he was just going to come up with his own theories on what he would have answered later if he didn’t ask right now anyway. Herman was smart, Otto could see that, but was he smart enough to design such a thing? He could see the man buying them off of someone, but not so much more than thinking up the concept to tell an inventor, and just had to ask/

i have so many villains h/o 👀  parker robbins aka the hood would probably be the best fit if you want the pc to be the antagonist but i've also got juggernaut, and constrictor, ( or maybe even scorpion ) who could maybe not be the one who specifically wants her, but maybe they were hired by someone to grab her so you could still have free range with the big bad but also a villain to interact with.
