We didnt know/realize that we experienced “lowkey” transmisogyny until we went on Tumblr and saw people. Transfems & trans women of all flavors, explaining what transmisogyny is and we were like “wait, we been experienced this, what are we” this was around the time TME/TMA first emerged, def a headache to realize that yes, we experienced both intermisogyny (from family) n transmisogyny (from society).
Bc a Black (esp dark skin) intersex person cant be anything but a man so either act like one or we’re gonna shame you.
Also constantly feeling like we have do downplay transmisogyny bc we didn’t experience the “worse of it”
This is intermisogyny, racism, misogynoir and transmisogynoir. Yeah, people love to masculinize the hell out of POC, esp intersex POC, and treat them as awful and aggressive from numerous accounts I have heard.
