Vet School is making me want to deflate.
I can’t seem to stay awake in class, but I also can’t sleep at night. This has been going on for the last few weeks. My grades are still passing, but I don’t feel like i’m getting my money’s worth in education with my inability to focus.
I had stopped drinking energy drinks for 4 months. I use to drink them every day for 4 years. I just started drinking them again this last weekend because coffee can’t keep me awake enough.

I Can’t Deal With Men Being Emotional
So today has been a pretty tough day as far as critical cases and euthanasias. We've got this one guy here who's super handsome GSD has got a TON of bloody fluid around it's heart and it's the poor dude's birthday. I'm not normally a praying kind of person but I'm really pulling hard that he get's a healthy dog back for his birthday this year. But the thing that's really bumming me out is this big black dude who's here with his kitty and he's so concerned and worried, like he's literally on the verge of tears and I can't even.
The "Federal ONE Loan Program" is being considered by the senate. It would effectively increase the burden of veterinary students and recent graduates, requiring professional students to take out high cost private loans and ultimately increases the financial barriers of entry into the profession.
With the removal of programs such as the Public Service Loan Forgiveness programs, new graduates would seek out more profitable positions to pay for their veterinary education, resulting in a shift in the supply of veterinarians away from non-profits and certain sectors of public health. This can make it difficult for members of the public to access veterinary health services due to financial or geographical concerns that rely on these services.
