WAS GONNA WORK ON STUFF BUT IM DISTRACTED AND SO STUPIDLY HYPE BECAUSE THE NORTHERN LIGHTS WERE OUT AT MY HOUSE EVERYONE PUT EYES ON THEM
There’s much magic going on - there have been two owls (likely barred owls) hooting to each other this whole time and some coyotes howling and yipping and earlier a BRIGHT moon (enough for clear shadows 👌🏻) and the Milky Way and a good hour or so watching the aurora in color!! There’s just some little remnants I’m still watching out by the fire (was away from the fire earlier for better looks but now that I’m chilling and it’s chilly I needed Fire). They’re faded to white mists right now but unlike before they’re occasionally dancing!!! Obvious statement, but nature is fuckin cool dude
They were less saturated to the naked eye than in the pics but still quite visible!! Mostly swaths of color tinting with some well defined beams but I’ll fuckin take it, especially cuz I didn’t have to spend a bunch of money to travel to maybe see them (will positively still do that eventually tho whchjdjdkdjsns love travel just need more of the time and money part)
If you’re in the very northern US and Canada (don’t know about rest of the range that can see but certain on those) keep an eye out this week cuz I think they’re supposed to be active a few nights! We had a barely there show of them last night but tonight was some of the best southern WI has ever seen!!!
