Don’t look at this and assume it’s easy for me. I have fallen over more times than I could ever count. Look at this and see countless hours of practice under the guidance of highly skilled teachers that never gave up on me. I was never a dancer or a gymnast, nor am I naturally strong. But I kept practicing. I picked myself back up over and over again. I studied good technique. I let the process humble me. And I still have work to do to be stronger. I will never understand hunting and fishing. To look into the eyes of an animal and brutally take that life, it boggles my mind. I'm saddened and a little angered by it. As I was taking this photo, there were about fifty people behind me fishing and catching these gigantic, beautiful RedFish. Exclaiming and excited over their accomplishment, I was both happy for them and disgusted by them. My whole life I have wavered back and forth between eating meat and dairy because it's delicious, so I'm not here to act superior to you in any way. This is not a vegan saying everyone should become vegan...but I'd love if everyone connected the meat they eat to an animal that can feel pain and suffering...
